Great Win For Aoife

Congratulations To Aoife Courtney on winning the @hardmanireland Half Marathon in Kerry this weekend.

Incidentally, this is the race were Aoife learned about our training group. She ran beside one our runners Jack who has now moved to Vancouver. They got talking and Jack told Aoife about our training group and got in touch.

12 months later and that 1:39:57 time has turned into a 1:33:08 and first place. If you have done this course you will know that it is not for the faint hearted. It has 450 metres of elevation. A half marathon road course made for mountain legs.

Aoife had one simple request in her training. She felt that she kept missing out on podium placing. And that has changed! At the end of 2022 she was 2nd in the Run The Line long course and now a first in Kerry.

That is Aoife on the right. Works very hard and is now gearing up for a fun day out for Maurice Mullins.
