Our first ever Fitness Goose Running Class happened this week on Monday at 7:15pm @liftdublin7

I have done many classes over the years in various gyms and workshops. But this was my first class built with members of the Fitness Goose Run Club.

We had space for 12 signs up, and 11 showed up.

It feels a little special having a class made up of so many varied runner types. See below.



We had
* 2 x Sub 3 marathon finishers
* 5 x @ecotrailwicklow finishers.
* 4 x Ultra runners
* 1 x female runner training for the @comradesmarathon Marathon 90k
* 1 x male runner training for the UTMB @istria100 168k
* 1 x runner recently recovered from competing a full @ironmantri and now In search of a 2:45 marathon
* Multiple marathon finishers
* Runners preparing for our Barcelona Marathon 2024 trip in March
* Runners preparing for our UTMB Istria trip in April
* Runners who have only completed their first marathon, and our now laying the foundations of their next marathon.
* Runners getting stronger due to niggles happening during the marathon cycle.
* And 2 half marathon runners in search of their journey to their first marathon.

This first class would not have happened without the support of @niamhliftdublin7 at her fantastic training facility and also for @davidcochraneie who reminded me often “if you build it, they will come”.

Our Monday 7:15pm class up until end of 2023 is almost full, but keep an eye out in 2024
